We drove back from the Eden Project and out to Marazion .This is a lovely little village near Penzance and from where you go out to St Michaels Mount. Be aware as we weren't until too late that St Michaesl Mount is closed on Saturdays!
You can walk out at low tide across a causeway and a boat plies visitors the short way across when the tide is too high.

We had looked forward to exploring this medievil castle and it's grounds with over 1,000 years of history!
With a fortress, a priory, and beautiful gardens we could only see through the camera lens it teased us as we looked on with a cold wine in hand from the Godolphins Pub. We were able to take photos and enjoyed the wine ....although the smell of the seaweed was a bit ripe!

Marazion Village is very pretty and we enjoyed a wander around before heading back to our B&B The Pendennis which was excellent accommodation in Penzance - close to the waterfront and several restaurants.
